The symptoms of jaundice can vary depending on the underlying cause, but some of the most common symptoms include:  
  1. Yellowing of the skin and eyes: This is the most common symptom of jaundice, and it typically starts at the head and spreads downwards to the rest of the body.
  2. Dark urine: Bilirubin can cause the urine to become dark in color, sometimes appearing brownish or reddish.
